Julian Hakes is UK based award winning designer who’s experience spans architectural, bridges design, product design, fashion forward footwear and accessories.

In 2006, he started exploring his ideas for a new footwear design and production process. Over the next few years, he developed the early concepts for the Mojito shoe, which was seen on the catwalks at the London Fashion week with Swedish designer Ann Sofie Buck and London designer Ada Zandition for the SS11 season.

Julian Hakes - Mojito is a unique shoe design. It is a single wrapped geometry which starts under the ball of the foot, sweep over the bridge, then down below the heel before twisting back on itself to provide the support for the heel.

Julian was name British footwear designer of the year and has also been awarded the Vogue Accessories Designer Award.
